What IS SilverlightShow?
An independent free open community, dedicated entirely to Microsoft’s
technology Silverlight (formerly known as WPF/E), which is categorizing
and providing access to a huge amount of free resources chaotically
spread all over the Internet.
What ISN’T SilverlightShow?
A commercial product, meant to transform into a paid service as soon
as its audience grows enough to make it possible. A website developed
in our spare time. Something you can miss ;).
What is its purpose?
We are entirely focused on collecting and providing easy access to
the gathered information, so we can spare your time for more valuable
tasks (i.e. Solitaire). Define pros and cons about Silverlight as a
competitive technology. Provide opinions, advices, samples, tips and
tricks, tutorials, interviews, articles etc. from trustworthy sources.
Yes, the main purpose of SilverlightShow is to make your life easier!
Why Silverlight?
There are two main reasons for choosing Silverlight: the first one is
that it is a very promising new technology and the second is that
there are no well recognized independent community sites about it yet.
What’s next?
There are several things that are going to happen in the Show very soon
and we are working rally hard in order to bring them to you in the
shortest possible time. These include video, audio and screen casts,
interviews with Silverlight evangelists, user articles publishing, etc.
